2010 KCA Service Award
Kathy Ringering
2009 Nomination letter:
To Whom It May Concern:
Kathy Ringering has been in Kuvasz for over 20
years, and during that time has served the club and
breed in many different capacities.
Kathy has served as the KCA President, and has
chaired the health committee, three national
specialties, and a nominating committee. She has
served as a member of the specialty policy
committee, the judges education council, and the
rescue committee.
As a breeder Kathy has led by example to further the
quality of health in the Kuvasz breed, producing
quality puppies with good temperaments.
Kathy is always willing to spend time mentoring new
owners. She has been an active member of the rescue
community and has rescued at least 20 dogs that were
not of her breeding over the last 15 years. That is
a huge service to the breed and to those individual
dogs.
Her willingness to share her knowledge doesn’t end
with the newcomers, however. She is there for
long-time breeders and owners as well, discussing
health concerns, breeding ideas, training issues,
grooming tips and just being a friend.
Kathy’s service to the club and the breed has been
tremendous.
Please recognize the years of service Kathy has
given to our club and to this breed with the Kuvasz
Club of America’s Service Award.
Thank you,
Tricia & Matthew Ginther
