Louie found himself in need of a new home in 2004 after
his owners got a divorce. He was raised with children
and navigated toward any kids he could find. He was
often disappointed to find they were not his children.... In looking for a new home for Louie,
we knew he would want a family with kids. Louie went to
live with the Morris family. It was a long drive to meet
them at the half-way point, but it seemed that Louie
knew those children were going to be his as soon as he
saw them.
His first night he followed them to
the upstairs bath and helped the girls get their bath
before bedtime.
This is a recent picture of Louie and
his girls. It is too sweet for words.
