Am/Can BIS Champion Budagyongye Opal
“Mae” is the result of a collaborative effort between Elizabeth Kondor and Kathy Ringering. Elizabeth owned Am/Can BIS Champion Budagyongye Opal.
Opal has been deceased for over 20 years now, but his frozen semen was used to breed to Ch Double Ring Kastaspell (aka Morgan). Carat’s mother, Ceara was the result of that breeding.
Elizabeth and I agreed to drop her kennel name of Pyramid, and my kennel name of Double Ring. The Opal genes being reintroduced to the gene pool at this time are of paramount importance to the breed! Any of the offspring that Elizabeth and I breed together will carry the Budagyongye kennel name in honor of the legacy left by Opal.
