Cirrus, A Special Dog

Cirrus is one of those special dogs who you just know is going to be awesome! Not when he was a baby… but I remember thinking that when I saw him at nine months old.

He finished his championship at only nine months, then won a Group placement at only eleven months old! Cirrus was seriously competitive at the breed level during the Kuvasz Specialty weekend in Harrisburg,PA. at the young age of only 14 months.

Cirrus’ owners were elderly and began having some health problems.

Cirrus came back to us after the death of his owner. He was two years old at the time.

Unfortunately, due to the health problems of his owners, his proper care was more than they could handle. He weighed only 82 lbs when we got him back — about 25 plus pounds underweight.

It took us a couple of years to get him back into prime condition.

He is 10 & 1/2 years old as I write this and, thankfully, still with us.

He has sired some awesome puppies, including Ch Double Ring Phairy Tale; Ch Double Ring Peterbilt; Ch Double Ring Oz the Magnificent; and some lovely youngsters from a recent litter out of Ch Double Ring Moonlight Serenade.
