Champion Budagyongye Diamonds R Forever, aka Carat,
winning a 5-point Major under judge Edd Bivin during the
prestigious 2011 Kuvasz Club
of America Specialty weekend show in Louisville,
KY. (Best of Winners. Evansville KC, March 19, 2011)
Budagyongye Diamonds R
Forever "Carat" (shown above at 15 mos. old) won a 3 point
major in Lake St. Louis, MI. in January 2010 under
Judge Eric Liebes.
Carat's dam,
Ceara, is
an important part of our breeding program and the gene
pool since her father is Ch Budagyongye Opal bred to Ch
Double Ring Kastaspell.
Carat is the result of a
collaborative effort between Elizabeth Kondor and Kathy
Ringering. Elizabeth owned Am/Can BIS Champion
Budagyongye Opal. Opal has been deceased for over 20
years now, but his frozen semen was used to breed to Ch
Double Ring Kastaspell (aka Morgan). Carat's mother,
Ceara was
the result of that breeding.
Elizabeth and I agreed to
drop her kennel name of Pyramid, and my kennel name of
Double Ring. The Opal genes being reintroduced to the
gene pool at this time is of paramount importance to the
breed!
Any of the offspring that
Elizabeth and I breed together will carry the
Budagyongye kennel name
in honor of the legacy left by Opal.
